12pm – 4pm
Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, Meeting Room 8
The PIA Young Planners invite you to join us for an interactive session, where you will be immersed in a hands-on place-making workshop, which will see the use of new innovative community mapping technology, as well as hands on modelling to plan and design a suburb. This session will allow you to think innovatively about how you would redevelop an existing site, taking into account real-world constraints, and then use mapping technology to put your plan to the test and see how successful your idea would be in practice.
Hear from a collection of industry experts whilst you create, build and transform your very own development. Come and join the YP’s as we challenge and push the frontiers of planning and explore how new technology and old school modelling can be used to create a long and prosperous future for our suburbs.
