Sarah Macaulay is the Manager, Transport Planning at RAC. She has more than 14 years’ industry experience from consultancy and the private sector in the UK and Australia. Before leaving the UK in 2012, she gained professional recognition through achieving the Transportation Planning Professional (TPP) qualification awarded by the CIHT.
She has broad ranging expertise, having been the project manager and technical lead on a variety of transport projects. Her experience includes transport planning and research, as well as strategy and policy formulation, relating to congestion management; sustainable and shared mobility; transport infrastructure planning; smart transport technologies; and land use and development planning.
At RAC she is responsible for leading research, delivering collaborative evidence-based projects, and providing advice to support RAC’s Mobility Agenda with respect to the planning and operation of WA’s transport system.
