Joe Algeri is the director of Altus Planning, a boutique planning consultancy that specializes in mediation, evidence and representation at the State Administrative Tribunal. Joe has a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Urban Geography from the University of Western Australia and a Postgraduate Diploma in Urban & Regional Planning from Curtin University. A professional career spanning over 25 years has also included positions in local and state government.
Joe is well known for appearing for “all sides” at the Tribunal including 3rd parties and his greatest fulfillment comes not from winning a case but from achieving negotiated solutions.
Aside from planning, Joe maintains strong links to his family’s cattle farming interests. Prior to marriage and raising his 3 daughters, he also travelled the world extensively as a musician.
