Claire has over 25 years of experience in urban and regional planning and policy development, in both state and local government in WA. In a senior capacity at the former Department of Planning, Claire worked on key projects and policies in State Government, including Liveable Neighbourhoods, R Codes, legislative reform, SAT reviews, region schemes and local amendments, broad acre structure planning and subdivision control. As an active member of Planning Institute of Australia and the Local Government Planners Association, Claire takes a keen interest in the professional development and current issues facing urban and regional planning and those initiatives which promote healthy, active and vibrant communities today and into the future.
